3000 years of history

Episkyros and Phainida in ancient Greece, Harpastum in Ancient Rome, Calcio Fiorentino in the Middle Ages, Mob Footbal in Western Europe, were formated as a sport at the down of the 19th century.
Current rules started being formated in the early 1900's.
The sport followed the social changes of the 20th Century and has been a pioneer of the emancipation process of the working class people.

Equality in membership and participation

Nationality, colour, ethnicity, religion, gender, class, wealth, ability, are not borders. These are flowers of the same garden, the beautiful garden of the human race. All rugbers are accepted...
All National Governing Bodies, legal and recognised, are welcome. No discrimination between old and new, traditional or emerging. All Nations are equal in our family.

Domestic and Global

Rugby League, has to become Global in order to find new roads to development and overcome bureaucratic and objective obstacles.
To make League a Global sport, we need to have strong grassroots.
Domestic development is essensial.
All our efforts have to be focused on domestic development.

Fare, just and open

We do not invent obstacles and accusations against our members.
We have the same rules for all countries.
We do not divide members in "ours" and "theirs" or "allies" and "enemies".
There are no members that are "more equal" than others.
